Ingredients in Easy Guacamole Recipe

This ingredient setup stays fresh and familiar, which keeps the flavors clean and easy to enjoy.

How to make Guacamole

This recipe moves quickly and stays relaxed the whole way through.

1. Prep the avocados

Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Mash gently with a fork until mostly smooth with some texture left.

2. Add lime juice

Pour fresh lime juice over the mashed avocado. Stir right away so the flavor spreads evenly and the color stays bright.

3. Mix in onion

Add chopped white onion to the bowl. Stir gently so the pieces spread through the avocado without crushing it further.

4. Add tomato

Fold in the diced Roma tomato. Keep the motion light to avoid turning the mixture watery

5. Add jalapeno

Stir in the finely diced jalapeno. This step sets the heat level, so mix evenly for balanced bites.

6. Add cilantro

Sprinkle chopped cilantro over the mixture and fold it in until well distributed

7. Season

Add salt gradually, tasting as you go, until the flavor feels complete and balanced.

How to serve Guacamole

This dip shines when served fresh and slightly chilled. A simple bowl with tortilla chips always works, but it also pairs well with tacos, grilled meats, and rice bowls. The texture stays best right after mixing, making it perfect for sharing right away.

If leftovers happen, press plastic wrap directly onto the surface and store in the fridge. The flavor stays solid for short storage.

Recipe Tips

  • Use ripe avocados that yield gently when pressed.
  • Dice vegetables finely so the texture stays smooth.
  • Add salt slowly and taste often.
  • Serve soon after mixing for best color and flavor.
